International Conference on Adaptive Resilience in Engineering and Environment
The 2027 International Conference on Adaptive Resilience in Engineering and Environment (ICARE 2027) is an international forum that brings together researchers, academics, engineers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, share innovative research, and discuss emerging challenges in building resilient and sustainable engineering and environmental systems.
ICARE 2027 focuses on the development of adaptive, intelligent, and sustainable approaches to resilience in response to complex and evolving disruptions, including climate change, natural and human-induced hazards, infrastructure failures, cybersecurity threats, and other emerging risks. The conference provides a platform for interdisciplinary research connecting engineering, environmental sustainability, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems, digital twins, risk assessment, and resilience measurement.
The conference covers a broad range of topics, including Resilience Engineering; Critical Infrastructure Protection; Climate Resilience; Sustainable Energy Systems; Environmental Monitoring; Smart Technologies and Intelligent Systems; Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; Digital Twins; IoT and Cyber-Physical Resilience; Disaster Management; Risk Assessment; Reliability Analysis; and Resilience Metrics and Evaluation.
ICARE 2027 aims to foster international collaboration and encourage the exchange of innovative ideas, practical solutions, and research findings that contribute to the development of adaptive, resilient, and sustainable systems for a rapidly changing world. Through academic and professional collaboration, ICARE 2027 seeks to strengthen the connection between scientific research, technological innovation, engineering practice, and sustainable development.
We invite submissions in all areas of information technology and intelligent systems research. In particular, we encourage submissions related to the seminar theme:
All accepted papers MUST BE presented orally (offline) or virtually (online) at the conference in order to be published in the proceedings. Papers that are not presented will not be published.
Only accepted & presented papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.
Submissions are welcome in, but not limited to, the following areas of interest.
Three phases, nine steps — from account creation to your final slide upload
Everything you need to prepare and submit your presentation
Each paper is allocated 15 minutes in total: 10 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for Q&A. At least one author must join the session live to answer questions.
All presentation material is due April 10, 2027.
SessionID_LastName.mp4 — e.g. 1A_Nugroho.Record screen and mic with any free tool on Linux, macOS, or Windows — or export slides as images, record audio separately, and combine them in an editor (e.g. Kdenlive, iMovie).
Review your recording before submitting, then upload the file to Google Drive.
Authors are invited to submit their paper using the IEEE Paper format.
Submit your paper easily via EDAS.
EDAS SubmissionIEEE PDF eXpress is a free service provided to IEEE conferences that allows authors to create IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs or check PDFs for compatibility before final submission.
All accepted and registered papers must pass PDF eXpress validation before they can be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.
